Telecommmunications giant Vodafone has confirmed it has offered voluntary redunancy to over 70 per cent of its staff - hoping at least 400 will take up the offer. The move comes as part of a company-wide restructure which would see a large portion of the call centre and IT staff roles outsourced to India. But Unite Union says the company hasn't acted in good faith. Its national secretary Gerard Hehir speaks to Susie Ferguson.
