Jacinda Ardern responds to quake-prone insurance woes

A consumer advocacy group says the Government needs to act to ensure people have guaranteed access to house and contents insurance. Some insurance companies, including one of the country's biggest, IAG, are not offering new contents insurance in Wellington. Consumer NZ says the government needs to step in, because under current law those without insurance won't be covered by the Earthquake Commission.
