Biosecurity hunts tonnes of produce for fruit fly

Biosecurity staff investigating the Queensland fruitfly found in Auckland are hunting through 3,000 tonnes of produce for signs of a breeding population. A third male fruitfly was found in Northcote on Monday near to where one was found last week and two weeks after the first was found in Devonport. Eva Corlett spoke to residents in the 200 metre red zone about the biosecurity efforts in their gardens.
