State housing waitlist jumps by 5000 in a year

The number of people waiting for state housing has increased by nearly five-thousand people over the past year. The Housing Register is now at 10-thousand 712 people, up from just over 6-thousand in 2018. But the government are positive about the state of social housing, saying more than 16-hundred public housing places have been made available in the past year. Ben Strang has more.
