E-scooters rolling for Wellington

E-scooters are coming to Wellington, after the council's strategy committee voted yesterday to introduce a six month trial. Two e-scooter companies will be selected from the eight who have approached the council, and six hundred to eight hundred e-scooters could be on the streets as soon as next month. At the meeting Councillor Bryan Dawson called for central government to provide more direction on how to regulate e-scooters.
