Nelson fire: Wakefield school relocates for classes

About 90 percent of Wakefield School's pupils have been evacuated from their homes. The rural school has a roll of 278 children and was closed on Friday. It will be open today at the Hope Community Centre, running at the usual times but with a modified timetable. The school's principal, Peter Verstappen says he's eager to restore some normality for his pupils, staff and their families.
