Towbar-makers demand NZTA reimburse customers
Three Auckland towbar makers have joined forces to demand the Transport Agency reimburse people who are being forced to have towbars recertified. Recertification is needed, at a cost of several hundred dollars, after the agency suspended the engineer who had given the towbars the all clear. Blair Johnson from the Jayco company says he's got fifteen very unhappy customers who have the towbars.
