NZ's Chinese student enrolments fall again

From Morning Report, 6:15 am on 30 January 2019

Student enrolments from New Zealand's single biggest source of foreign students, China, have continued to fall. In the past six months Immigration New Zealand has issued 500 fewer new study visas to Chinese students than in the same period a year earlier. That's a fall of 11%, and it comes after a 20% drop in new study visas for Chinese students in the 12 months to June last year. Education New Zealand's Grant McPherson talks to education correspondent, John Gerritsen.
