Arthur Taylor's friend relieved at news of release
A friend and advocate for the career criminal and self-styled jailhouse lawyer Arthur Taylor is delighted and relieved he'll be released on parole next month. Taylor has spent almost four decades behind bars, and has an extensive criminal history stretching back to 1972, when he appeared in the Youth Court on a forgery charge. His friend Hazel Heal described Taylor as a "legal genius". She talks to Susie Ferguson.
