The Prime Minister is standing by Housing Minister Phil Twyford. Mr Twyford came under pressure after on Wednesday morning, admitting the KiwiBuild target would not be reached. More than six months into the programme only 33 houses have been built - nowhere near the first-year target of 1000 homes.
