Hopes fade in search for Emiliano Sala in English Channel

Hopes of finding the missing Argentinian footballer Emiliano Sala alive are fading, as the search continues for the plane he was in which disappeared in the English Channel on Monday evening, local time. Sala had just signed a lucrative contract with the football club Cardiff City, and he was travelling to the UK to join the team after leaving the French club Nantes.
