Politicians say final farewells before festive season

Wellington is looking a little less like a capital city today with the last of the politicians boarding their planes this morning to retire to their electorates for the next six weeks. And like every year before it the adjournment debate last night was the last chance in Parliament for MPs to get things off their chest and thank the people who keep the place running day in day out. Our political reporter Jo Moir was there for the final farewells.
