Finlayson backs new generation for Ngāpuhi Treaty talks

Sixty-six Northland hapū have rejected the latest plan to negotiate a Ngāpuhi settlement despite months of work by an iwi-Crown working group. Treaty lawyer Moana Tuwhare says the negotiators have been "flogging a dead horse". She says chairs of Tuhoronuku, Ngāpuhi & a co-chair of Te Kotahitanga o Ngā Hapū Ngāpuhi should go.
