'Hatchets not buried' at George HW Bush's funeral

From Morning Report, 7:26 am on 6 December 2018

Former President George H.W. Bush's state funeral has just concluded at the National Cathedral in Washington DC. At the service he was hailed as a World War Two hero, Cold War veteran and architect of a US victory against Iraq who went on to represent a bygone era of civility in American politics. His son, and former president, George W Bush delivered a heart felt eulogy. Our correspondent Simon Marks tells Susie Ferguson "hatchets were definitely not being buried." All former leaders were chatting until the Trumps walked in, and conversation ceased, he says.
