Justice Minister discusses Hague Convention, deportations

Over the past two weeks Morning Report has revealed several cases of New Zealand women fleeing domestic violence being forced back to Australia because of a convention signed in 1980 which forces "abducted" children to return to their country of origin. But while the Hague Convention is set in stone, experts say there are loopholes in New Zealand law that could be exploited to make sure the Family Court takes into account the risk to children from domestic violence. Justice Minister Andrew Little joins us to discuss the options on the table.
