G20 must focus on fixing WTO - NZ dairy boss

Dairy companies around the world have joined forces in an attempt to protect the World Trade Organisation. The United States under President Trump has been blocking the appointment of new judges to the WTO's appeals court. New Zealand's Trade Minister, David Parker, has already warned that this could bring a vital part of the WTO's work to a halt. New Zealand's dairy industry along with its counterparts in the European Union, Australia, Argentina and Uruguay are urging world leaders to find a solution at the next meeting of the G20 leaders in Buenos Aires. Malcolm Bailey, is the chair of the Dairy Companies Association.
