NZ must seriously consider genetic modification - Gluckman

The former chief science advisor for the Prime Minister says it's time to look seriously at whether New Zealand should use GM for farming. In his last report in the role, Sir Peter Gluckman laid out the ways genetic modification or gene editing could benefit the agricultural sector with pasture anagement and emissions. He told RNZ science and innovation reporter Charlie Dreaver that just because it's a divisive topic, it doesn't mean we shouldn't be talking about it.
