Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern's busy APEC schedule

From Morning Report, 7:38 am on 14 November 2018

The Prime Minister has arrived in Singapore for a three day gathering of Asian regional leaders and associated partners and found herself in demand before even the first meeting. Jacinda Ardern is at the East Asia Summit and has a programme of meetings with a wide range of leaders to chew over a range of issues from security, trade, human rights, through to climate change. She's expected to meet China's Premier Li Keqiang and Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. But at the summit's dinner for leaders tonight the United States has specifically asked for Ms Ardern and Vice President Mike Pence to be seated together. She says the conversation is likely to be wide ranging.
