Haumaha inquiry findings don't end questions - Bishop

From Morning Report, 8:24 am on 13 November 2018

The National Party says many people are still questioning whether Wally Haumaha should be confirmed as deputy police commissioner. An inquiry into Mr Haumaha's promotion has found the process was adequate and fit for purpose. And while the government says it has full confidence in the selection process, the Prime Minister won't go so far as to say she has confidence in the man himself while an investigation into complaints of bullying continue. Chris Bishop is the National Party spokesperson for Police. He says the inquiry report doesn't end the questions over Mr Haumaha's appointment.
