Immigration New Zealand and the Secret Intelligence Service are investigating several foreign students over concerns their studies could be used to make weapons of mass destruction. One of the students is researching how to improve water quality in New Zealand in conjunction with a Crown research Institute. His lawyer, Alastair McClymont, tells Guyon Espiner his client is probably "the single best, most qualified migrant I've ever seen coming into this country, & we're about to lose him."
