Mainzeal had to be 'clairvoyant' to know of troubles - defence

Dame Jenny Shipley's lawyer says competent business people will be put of becoming directors if a court rules against the bosses of construction giant Mainzeal.The company's liquidators are suing some of its former directors, including Dame Jenny for 75 million dollars claiming they traded recklessly while knowing there was not enough money in the coffers. Matthew Theunissen has been at the hearing in the High Court at Auckland.
