Mallard's, Brownlee's Japan trip 'not diplomacy' - Seymour

A $24,000 trip to Japan by Trevor Mallard and Gerry Brownlee has been labelled a taxpayer-funded Junket by ACT leader David Seymour. Speaker of the House Mr Mallard and the National Party's Mr Brownlee travelled to Japan last week for a sporting diplomatic mission however, they also had time to watch the All Blacks play Japan. David Seymour is calling the trade mission a pretext for a boys weekend at the rugby. He talks to Kim Hill.
