Southland fatal bus, car crash on 'straight bit of road' - truckie

One person has died following a serious crash between a car and a bus in Southland. The crash occurred at about 7.20 this morning on State Highway 6 near Allandale Road, south of Kingston. Another person is seriously injured, and is likely to be airlifted to hospital in Dunedin or Invercargill. Another eight people have suffered moderate or minor injuries.
