Friends, colleagues mourn guides killed in Aoraki avalanche

Anne Braun-Elwert from the mountain guide company Alpine Recreation was a good friend of both Wolfgang Maier and Martin Hess. They'd both worked for her Tekapo-based business. She told RNZ Otago reporter Timothy Brown the first she knew of the deaths was when she started getting texts at a 6:45am on Wednesday.
