WWI NZ troops honoured at Le Quesnoy

The small French town of Le Quesnoy that's never forgotten the New Zealand troops who liberated it in the First World War are marking the centenary of the battle on Sunday. Eighty New Zealand soldiers died in the assault when they made the decision to scale the walls of the medieval fortress town rather than use artillery to oust the Germans. No one in the town was killed - something they're still grateful to New Zealand for. Here's RNZ Veterans' Affairs Reporter Andrew McRae.
