'They smell like daisies' - young Aucklander meets royals

From Morning Report, 6:45 am on 31 October 2018

The royals visit to Auckland on Tuesday was marked by a visit to children of prisoners, a walkabout on the waterfront and a rain-soaked gumboot throwing competition. Hundreds turned out to catch a glimpse of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the Viaduct. Some in the crowd cheered when they saw them and others broke into song, singing the Māori version of the national anthem. Earlier they'd visited a charity dedicated to supporting the children of prisoners through mentoring schemes and in-home support. Eva Corlett spoke to siblings Ghianna Morgan and Orla Angi, after they met the couple.
