Khashoggi killing 'savage, premeditated' - Turkey president

From Morning Report, 7:18 am on 24 October 2018

In a highly anticipated speech to parliament, Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan (Rejep Tie-yip Air-doh-wahn) has called the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi "savage" and meticulously planned. However the president did not reveal any new, bombshell evidence as he had promised to do. Mr Erdogan rejected outright Saudi Arabia's claim that Mr Khashoggi was killed by 'rogue' Saudi operatives and demanded the kingdom reveal where Mr Khashoggi's body is, and who ordered the killing. Our correspondent is Frank Gardner. He talks to Guyon Espiner.
