Auckland homeless count reveals tip of iceberg

A census of people living rough in Auckland still doesn't paint a full picture of the scale of homelessness in our largest city. The count was funded by the Auckland Council and organised by the Housing First collective. It found about 800 people are living in cars or on the street. And the figures are likely to be just the tip of the iceberg.
