Give Jami-Lee Ross space, Paula Bennett urges

National's deputy leader Paula Bennett is jumping to the defence of Botany MP Jami-Lee Ross, calling on the media and the public to give him space to deal with his health problems. He revealed on Tuesday that he would be taking a few months off on medical leave. Ms Bennett is defending Mr Ross to the hilt, particularly regarding any speculation this sudden leave has anything to do with the ongoing investigation into the leak of National leader Simon Bridges' expenses.
