New figures out later this morning will tell us whether the economy is ticking over comfortably or confirm that consumers and businesses are right to be feeling downbeat. Economists are picking GDP growth of about 2.5 percent for the year ending June. Reporter Tom Furley has been talking to Aucklanders about why they are feeling so glum - after a Westpac consumer confidence survey yesterday hit a six year low.
