Digital harm complaint may restrict media freedom - lawyer

Online news website Newsroom is likely to end up in court sitting across from the scientist and entrepreneur Sir Ray Avery. The former New Zealander of the Year has laid a complaint against Newsroom under the Harmful Digital Communications Act. He alleges five of the stories the website has written about him and his inventions have caused him severe emotional distress - amounting to harrassment and digital harm.
