Whanau a mainstay of reo Māori success at schools

A new report says the success of te reo Māori at schools is falling heavily on the shoulders of whanau, and the government should be doing more. The Council for Educational Research says the shortage of reo Māori teachers and other policies are hindering te reo at schools. And it's calling for the government to pay closer attention to what's happening.
