Parents given chance to speak on Family Court improvements

From Morning Report, 8:10 am on 5 September 2018

Warring parents who've wrestled with the family court system have two months to have their say on how to improve it. The independent panel charged with improving family court wants to hear from anyone who has navigated their way through the court and related services. Changes introduced in 2014 were supposed to resolve disputes without families having to go to court. It hasn't worked that way. There have been major delays, with the Justice Minister, Andrew Little conceding children are suffering as a result. Rosslyn Noonan chairs the Independent Panel looking at those 2014 reforms. She talks to Susie Ferguson.
