Reuters keeps fighting for reporters' freedom in Myanmar
International news agency Reuters says it will keep fighting to have two of its reporters released from jail in Myanmar. Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo were on Monday sentenced to seven years in prison with hard labour. The court found them guilty of breaching a colonial era law on state secrets. The two have denied the claims. Reuter's Asia editor Kevin Krolicki was outside the court in Yangon when the verdict was handed down yesterday. He told Morning Report's Kim Griggs the news agency will keep working to secure the men's freedom.
