Time away from netball gives Langman perspective

From Morning Report, 7:45 am on 4 September 2018

The Silver Ferns midcourter Laura Langman says taking a year out from netball has given her some perspective on life. Langman has announced she will return to play for the Australian domestic netball champions the Sunshine Coast Lightning. She took a break from the game this year, not playing Australia or at international level and wasn't part of the Silver Ferns disappointing Commonwealth Games campaign. Netball New Zealand has now relaxed its eligibility qualifications and granted Langman a 12-month exemption so she now play in Australia and for the Silver Ferns, with Langman set to add to her 141 test career against England next week. She told Bridget Tunnicliffe returning to the Sunshine Coast Lightning which is coached by new Silver Ferns coach Noeline Taurua was a straightforward decision.
