Whanganui gang shooting: Peace talks begin

From Morning Report, 7:35 am on 29 August 2018

Peace talks between the Black Power gang and community leaders in Whanganui have begun. They come just a day after the tangi of gunned down Mongrel Mob member Kevin Ratana, who was shot outside a home on Puriri Street early last week. But while Black Power members say the public is safe, members of the Whanganui community say they're not convinced peace will prevail. RNZ reporter Katie Doyle has been following the story. She discusses the latest developments with Guyon Espiner.
