Morrinsville small businesses feel sidelined by govt
The Prime Minister is striving to thaw her so-far frosty relationship with businesses - but small enterprises are feeling left out in the cold. Yesterday Jacinda Ardern announced a new Advisory Council - run by Air New Zealand's boss - to give business leaders a direct line to her. The announcement prompted the National MP Judith Collins to tweet: "most businesses are Mum-and-Dad owned - Jacinda Ardern should be listening to the small businesses of Morrinsville." So RNZ political reporter Craig McCulloch started going through the phone book.
