Australian politics: Doomsday for Turnbull?
Just after 2pm on Friday Malcolm Turnbull will find out if he's still the Prime Minister of Australia. His leadership will go on the line if a petition calling for a vote attracts the necessary 43 signatures - last night it was reported 40 MPs have put their names on the list. Mr Turnbull says if his MPs do want a vote, he'll take that as a sign he's not wanted and his name won't be in the ballot. We cross to Canberra and talk to the political editor of The Conversation, Michelle Grattan.
