Australian leadership spill: What does it mean for NZ?

Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters says it's too early to say whether the resignation of Australian Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton will have any effect on trans-Tasman policy. Mr Dutton has been in charge of Australia's immigration policy that has resulted in hundreds of New Zealanders living in Australia being deported back has been a source of tension between the two countries home. Mr Dutton resigned as Australia's Immigration Minister after losing a leadership challenge against Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. Guyon Espiner talks to Robert Ayson, Professor of Strategic Studies at Victoria University, for a wider look at what the Australian leadership turmoil could mean for New Zealand.
