An Australian immigration lawyer says New Zealanders in Australian detention centres may have a window of opportunity to avoid being deported now that Peter Dutton has resigned. Mr Dutton stepped down as Home Affairs Minister on Monday after unsuccessfully trying to roll Malcolm Turnbull as Prime Minister.
