Freedom camping infrastructure gets boost in South

The South Island was the big winner in an eight-million dollar handout from the government to improve freedom camping infrastructure. Freedom camping has been a divisive issue with many regions complaining of hordes of tourists trashing popular camping spots. Joining us is Tony Kokshoorn who's the mayor of the Grey District Council and Bruce Smith, the mayor of the Westland District Council, which both received the largest chunks of the funding.
