Final week for Labour's departing general secretary

The outgoing general secretary of the Labour Party, Andrew Kirton, admits mistakes were made handling sexual assault at a Labour youth camp. The Labour Party's now on the hunt for a new general secretary as Mr Kirton heads off to a lobbying job with Air New Zealand this week. Two and a half years ago Mr Kirton left London to return home to work for the Labour Party win the 2017 election. He told RNZ political reporter Jo Moir about Labour's rollercoaster ride to power.
