Mānuka honey proof test will help quality - producers

Local manuka honey producers say having to prove their product is the real thing could help stop New Zealand honey consumers getting an inferior product. Honey producers are being asked by the government if they think the standard applied to export manuka honey should also apply to that sold locally. But some who were at a meeting in Nelson about the proposal say a testing regime could be way too expensive. Tracy Neal reports.
