Oranga Tamariki recommends Hutt teen for full-time care

From Morning Report, 8:24 am on 7 August 2018

Following a story Morning Report ran last week about a Hutt Valley grandmother's battle with Oranga Tamariki. Six months ago authorities became involved because of violence and drug use at the home where her grand-daughter spends most of her time. The woman, who we can't name, spoke to us last week about her concerns about delays putting the teenager at risk. She now says she's seen a safety report which recommends her teenage grand-daughter should be in her full-time care. The safety assessment, is called a section 132 report. She spoke again to reporter Phill Pennington.
