Simon Bridges 'takes heart' from political poll
National Party leader Simon Bridges suffered another blow in the popularity stakes despite strong support for his party. Last night's Colmar-Brunton OneNews poll had National as the most preferred party on 45 percent with Labour down one to 42 percent. However, Mr Bridges dropped two points in the preferred Prime Minister numbers to 10 percent while Jacinda Ardern reigns supreme on 40 percent. Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters moved up to five percent following his time as chief operator during Ardern's absence. Mr Bridges discusses this, as well as issues of free speech, with Susie Ferguson.
