30 charter schools would be 'fantastic' - Simon Bridges

From Morning Report, 7:37 am on 30 July 2018

Promising to be "the hardest working opposition this country has ever seen" Simon Bridges at the weekend hosted the National Party's first conference since last year's election loss. Mr Bridges' first keynote speech as party leader was an opportunity to present a different image, or a fuller picture, of Simon Bridges the leader, the father, the husband, and the drummer. The policy focus was squarely on the education sector, with a promise to reinstate charter schools if returned to power, and talk of more teachers and smaller classes. Mr Bridges joins Guyon Espiner in the Auckland studio.
