Horizons chair confident with environment track record

The chairman of the Manawatu-Whanganui Regional Council is so confident in the council's environmental track-record that he would welcome an inquiry by the Enivronment Minister. Some Horowhenua locals are so concerned with the poor water quality in their region, that they have written to David Parker asking him to install a commissioner onto the Horizons council, to sort this issues out. And as Kate Gudsell reports, some of the regional councillors sympathise with the call.
