Immigrants' frustration for elderly parents abroad

Immigrants say the plight of their elderly parents is being ignored and swept under the carpet by a Government that claims to be caring and family focused. A freeze on considering new parent residence applications was introduced in October 2016, pending a review. Many have been waiting years to join their families and say the on-going delays to an announcement has left them in limbo in their twilight years.
