Patients will be safe during nurses strike - Auckland DHB
Auckland district health board is confident that staff can keep patients safe while nurses are on strike. Hundreds of patients have had appointments and operations postponed to keep the hospital numbers lower when the 24-hour strike is due to take place from 7am Thursday. The Director of Starship Child Health, Dr Michael Shepherd spoke to RNZ health correspondent Karen Brown the advice to anyone needing urgent medical help tomorrow remains the same.
