Andrew Little answers concerns over govt, Russell McVeagh ties

From Morning Report, 6:40 am on 6 July 2018

Questions around the government's relationship with Russell McVeagh have been renewed, following the release of a highly critical review of the law firm on Thursday. The report, by Dame Margaret Bazley, found the organisation had a culture of excessive drinking when sexual misconduct allegations arose several years ago. Information released to RNZ under the Official Information Act shows Russell McVeagh provides legal services to 22 government agencies - earning $3.1 million in the last financial year. Justice Minister Andrew Little says while the findings of the report were 'disturbing', it would be naive to think that they were only confined to Russell McVeagh.
